Leaves: Deciduous. Deep, dark green changing into shades of yellow and orange in the fall.
Bark: Heavily furrowed gray-brown.
Fruit: Syncarp.
Growth Rate: Moderate.
Description: An extremely narrow columnar tree. Used as mass plantings for effect. A durable tree that holds its summer foliage well into late fall.
