Tree Selection: The path to greatness begins with the selection of high quality liners, in which 95% of our starter trees are purchased from Cedar Valley Liners in Ada, Oklahoma.  Deep Fork Tree Farm works closely with Cedar Valley on tree orders years in advanced.  The starters are selected for strength of ornamental marketability, and the ability to be planted in a wide range of regions (USDA zones 3-9).  The wide range allows for a successful transplant throughout the nation.  The trees that are grown from a seed source are selected for their cold hardiness. A healthy, beautiful starter will be maintained to grow into a large caliper specimen tree, assuring your tree will be an exceptional specimen of the species.
