Large shrub or small tree. Usually multi-trunked, but can be trained to a standard. Mildew resistant, produces a landscape plant in 3 years. Bark is a shiny light gray to tan and is rather attractive. Often used in groups and under-planted with a ground cover. Aphids tend to be fonder to this particular plant.
