This is not a tree for the small residential property or streets. Should be restricted to large areas and this type of situation only. A very large and magnificent plant when fully grown and developed. Can be weak wooded.
- Large, 70-90’ x 35-50’
- Bright green in the summer changing to golden yellow in the fall.
- Grayish brown in color and furrowed into close, interlacing, rounded ridges which are separated by grayish crevices.
- Samaras, not showy
- Perfect flowers with 6 greenish yellow petals in 2 rows, 3 reflexed sepals, interior of the corolla an orangish color. Flowers are often borne high in the tree.
